Prince Chevrolet of Albany broke ground Thursday on their new facility.

The car dealership will be moving to the corner of Ledo Road and Grand Island Drive.

The decision to build a brand new building was made in part because General Motors has mandated all dealers upgrade their facilities. Officials say with the amount of work it would take to upgrade their current location, it just made sense to build a new one.

Construction is expected to be finish by next June.
