ALBANY, GA --
The new terminal at Southwest Georgia Regional Airport continues to take shape on the outside, and on the inside.

Airport commissioners met Monday to discuss different carpet and tile styles to go inside the new building. Airport Director Yvette Aehle says each decision is to promote the original idea for the building.

"It's all about motion, it's all about stainless steel, it's about aviation and that's why we have a lot more stainless steel, a lot more glass, its a much more modern structure then what we currently have," said Aehle.

The terminal is still on schedule to open in the summer of 2013, and officials say they are extremely excited with how the building is taking shape.
