ALBANY, GA --
The sun was shining, food was grilling, and music was playing on day two of the Georgia Throwdown.

"We came out here to enjoy a great time in Albany with great music", said Whitney Morrell of Camilla, Ga.

But festival goers aren't the only ones happy to be there, local vendors are also excited to get in on the action.

Vendor Eric McCallum, from Sonny's BBQ, said, "We wanted to be a part of this, we think it's going to be a really big event, it's going to be on going hopefully for...years to come, and we just wanted to be a part of history."

The three day music festival isn't just for adults, as there are a lot of activities for the little ones to enjoy as well.

Face painting, moon bounces and stilt walkers, are just a few of the things available for kids.

A Georgia Throwdown promoter said around 6PM is when the kid stuff starts wrapping up, and things become geared toward adults.

Saturday's headlining music act was Lyndyrd Skynyrd, but there’s also local talent performing as well.

Sunday is the last day for the music festival, you can buy tickets at http://georgiathrowdown.com.
