ALBANY, GA --
Organizers with the Georgia Throwdown say that they have taken multiple precautions to help keep you safe during the music festival.

The Albany Police Department along with a security company are coming to the festival to help keep things safe.

Security experts with experience with these types of festivals were also brought in to run the security operations.

They stressed that no one should be worried about their safety this weekend.

"We have kid’s event during the day time, (they) shut down about 6 or 7 around dark, then more music oriented at night, music all day, but (the public) can definitely feel safe here", said promoter, Bo Henry.

The 3 day music festival starts Friday night and wraps up Sunday.
