ALBANY, GA --
Worth County Middle Schoolers put their scientific minds to the test Thursday at the 2nd annual Worth County Science Fair.

Over 140 students participated which is almost 80 more students than last year. School improvement specialist, Maria Fletcher, expressed her excitement for both the students and faculty.

"I think all the teachers at the middle school see the importance of having our students research material, and with common core coming out of the curriculum, making sure our students are doing that research and furthering their knowledge," said Fletcher.

Fletcher hopes to continue the fair for many years to come.
