ALBANY, GA --
The Albany Chick-fil-a locations are honoring our local heroes by offering free lunch to anyone in uniform.

Dozens of EMT's, police officers, marines and more showed up to claim their free meal starting at 11:30 Tuesday morning.

Marketing Manager Lawrence Knighton says it's easy to take for granted what these men and women do for our citizens and they wanted to find a way to show their appreciation.

Uniformed men and women can get a free sandwich or nuggets meal until 2:30 p.m.
