ALBANY, GA --
Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany welcomed Soldiers from the United States Army Monday during a convoy drill.

The soldiers began their drill at Fort Benning, moving across the state and performing a rapid fueling exercise at MCLB. Officials with the convoy say this drill is vital for success overseas.

"Sometimes you don't know how much time you spend at a particular stop, or how long you can be there, so it's all about the timing and the execution of the mission," said Sgt. Prince Attia.

The convoy arrived at Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany early this morning and were headed back to Fort Benning by noon.
