Police looking for armed man

ALBANY, GA --
Around 9:30 p.m. the Subway at 912 South Slappey Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint. Police say a black male wearing a grey shirt covering his face walked into the business and fired three shots and demanding money from the register. After an employee gave him money the suspect ran away.

There were two employees working at the time of the robbery and no one was hurt.

APD is canvassing the local area trying to find the suspect. The suspect is described at a black male, 5’11, 185 pounds wearing blue jeans, brown boots, and a grey or black shirt that was used to cover his face.

If you have any information you’re asked to call the Albany Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 229-436-8477.
