ALBANY, GA --
The E3 Church Empowerment Conference is underway in Albany this week.

The three day conference is meant to enrich, equip, and encourage the community.

Pastors and speakers were brought in to conduct workshops that help to empower leadership.

One workshop offered Thursday was called "When the Hats Come off", which was designed to help women bridge the gap between the role of a mother and leader.

The conference concludes Friday night with a big service at the Gethemane Worship Center.
