Public Works employees voice concerns on healthcare costs

ALBANY, GA -- About 20 employees with the Dougherty County Public Works came to the commission meeting to express their dislike of the rise in healthcare costs.

Representatives of the group said the commission was able to clear up several questions they had.

The commission has postponed voting on any changes to the healthcare program until after a special called meeting they have scheduled for this Wednesday at 9 AM, to which they have invited all the employees from Public Works who showed up at the Monday meeting.
