ALBANY --
The Institutional First Baptist Church held their 39th annual Women's Day Celebration Sunday morning to encourage members to participate and feel fully involved.

The service highlighted women in history who overcame the struggles of everyday life in hopes that it will inspire the women of today.

"We see during Women's Day on display the talents of many women, the opportunity to just use your gifts and talents,” said Women’s Day speaker, Debora Knowles.

Pastor Eugene G. Sherman Jr. says the church also holds a Men’s Day, Youth Day and newly added Grandparent’s Day as a holistic approach to their services.
