ALBANY, GA. --

For the 15th year in a row Ed's Truck Stop in Poulan invited southwest Georgians out to the Annual Labor Day Fish Fry.

Hundreds of people from the area were expected to show up to the event.

They were greeted with music and hospitality from the host, Ed Souther himself.

On the menu people could find fried mullet fish and fried chicken.

Although the food drew many to the occasion, folks say the main attraction was the Todd Williams Band.

“We play from about 6:30 p.m. to about 9:30 p.m. and we just have a good time and most people are local,” says Chuck Turner, Drummer for the Todd Williams Band.

The host of the fish fry says he started the event to bring the community a little closer together.
