Crisp County Sheriff’s Office makes a synthetic marijuana bust

CORDELE, GA -- The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office released details about a major synthetic marijuana bust. 

After stopping a car five miles south of Cordele on I-75 for a traffic violation, deputies saw a green leafy material that resembled marijuana on the driver.  Thanks to K-9 Tessa the deputies found 11.6 pounds of synthetic marijuana.

24-year-old Tyler Brooks of Anderson, South Caroline was arrested and charged with possession of counterfeit controlled substance with intent to distribute and a window tint violation.  The Mid-South Narcotics Task Force is continuing the investigation.
