ALBANY, GA -- Exterminators in Southwest Georgia have thousands of pests that they need to be concerned about. However amongst the cockroaches and bedbugs, ants are quickly becoming an issue for Albany home owners.

In our Facebook Story of the day we went out to find the best ways to protect your home from these miniature annoyances.

"Make sure all your shrubs are trimmed away from the home, be aware of tree limbs touching the home, because ants and different types of insects will forage up shrubs onto the roof or the brick," said Adams Exterminator General Manager, David Reed.

Reed also says to seal all cracks around the outside of your home and make sure not to leave food out for an extended period of time.
