TIFTON, GA --

The Georgia Chamber of Commerce hosted a Regional Power Lunch in Tifton Wednesday.

The President and CEO of the Georgia Chamber, Chris Clark, was on hand to talk to the local business community about what's going on in Washington D.C., and economic development.

The chamber will also be talking about ways to improve the economy in Southwest Georgia.

"
we're going to be talking about exporting, about different opportunities around economic development, about how we help our existing industries to grow, so there's lots of opportunities down here, we just need to coordinate and stay focused," said Clark.

He also added that although there may be room for improvement, he feels good about economic development in Southwest Georgia.
