APD travels to Thomasville to make arrest

ALBANY, GA --
Tuesday afternoon the Albany Police Department’s Robbery/Homicide unit and Gang Unit traveled to Thomasville, Georgia to arrest a man wanted for murder.
26-year-old Danny Wilkerson Junior was arrested at a family member’s home in Thomasville after APD received information that he had been seen around the area. Wilkerson was wanted for a parole violation and an active murder warrant in connection to the fatal shooting of Dontavious Luke.
APD was able to make the arrest with the help of the Thomasville Police Department’s Gang Unit and Criminal Investigation Unit. The case remains active.
