CORDELE, GA -- Cordele police say they have arrested a man in connection to the August 22nd armed robbery of Dollar General.

Investigators say they have arrested 21-year-old Gregory Levhoun Foreman in conjunction with the robbery.

Officers say they responded to call about 7:45 PM and while enroute, had been advised that a person was shot. Upon arrival they say they found 24-year-old Lakatia Kind injured by a gun shot to the leg. She was transported to Crisp Regional Medical Center.

Other local law enforcement including Crisp County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia State Patrol aided in the search for the suspect.

Investigators say they were able to apprehend Foreman at his home shortly after the robbery.
