ALBANY, GA -- The Albany Fire Department released its first "Firefighter's Calendar" in 8-years Tuesday.

The calendar feature's twelve of Albany's finest, plus fire safety and prevention tips at the bottom of each month. Calendar organizer Donald Jackson says it's a fun way to raise money for a good cause.

"Benefits are going to a place for hope, which is run by the Salvation Army. This is pretty much what we do every day, help people. It's just something we're going above and beyond to do," said Jackson.

Calendar's can be purchased at Fire station 1 on Jackson, or at Fire station 6 on Meredyth Drive. Starting at $12.00 dollars, the public is encouraged to get out and support this cause.
