ALBANY, GA -- The Lee County Utilities Board met Monday to discuss an increase in the sewer and water availability fee.

The rate for those services had stood at $18-dollars, however the board agreed to increase the fee to $19-dollars a month to assist with a rising debt service agreement.

With that agreement currently standing at $50,000 dollars, the Board felt that this was the only fair way to come up with enough revenue for the rest of the year.
