Fire in East Albany damages home  / From file

ALBANY, GA -- Albany Fire officials were called to 201 Leonard Avenue Thursday night for a house fire.

The left side of the home was completely engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene. The department had the fire out, and under control in 20-minutes and began investigating what caused the blaze.

The home suffered severe damage to the roof, and sides of the building. The department is still investigating this incident, but reported that no one was injured in the fire.
