Police nab Pitt Stop armed robber

Police have arrested the gunman connected to the Pitt Stop robbery last Saturday.

20-year-old De'Angelo Wallace was spotted by a Darton Police officer on campus between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm Tuesday.

The officer called Dougherty County Police who arrested Wallace with no incident.

Wallace is charged with the armed robbery at the Pitt Stop as well as the armed robbery at the Fast Lane the week before.

Both convenient stores are located in the 3000 block of Sylvester Road.

Additional charges are pending.
