Gas prices going up.
 / Jessica Fairley
ALBANY, GA. -- Within the span of one week gas prices gas prices have made a significant jump.
Early last week experts had expected that fuel prices would stabilize but news of a growth in U.S. jobs has helped push prices up to $91 a barrel.
This means prices at the pump have jumped an average of 10 cents.
The national price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $3.61 while the average price in Georgia is $3.48.
Officials say the spike in price shows just how volatile the market is and how diverse the factors are that affect oil prices.
