ALBANY, GA --

The Albany Journal announced Sunday,  via their website, that they are suspending print operations, and they will continue as a web only publication.

Publisher Tom Knighton said after taking over the journal the advertising revenue took a big hit, and they chose move toward a web online platform instead of shutting its doors completely.

Knighton is looking at this as an opportunity saying, “We didn’t want this, but we’re seizing the moment…this is an opportunity to bring news to our readers seven days a week, not just one.”
