ALBANY, GA --
Professors and staff at Albany State University will learn about getting and keeping healthy this school year during a Lunch 'N Learn program on Thursday.

The program, sponsored by Phoebe, will feature a healthy lunch and a presentation by Hannah Orlowski, the clinical nutrition manager and director of the Diabetes Care Center at Phoebe.

"This is an exciting joint venture between Albany State University and Phoebe," Orlowski said. "The ASU staff typically spends more than one-third of its day on the job. With the prevalence of diabetes soaring, the Lunch 'N Learn program is designed to help these professionals think about themselves and their health and wellness. It is one step that employers throughout our region can take to help improve the lives of their employees and at the same time, lower the costs of health care and missed productivity."
