SYLVESTER, GA. --

A 24-year-old from Sylvester is recovering after being shot in the chest.

According to police, the shooting happened around 2:05 a.m. Wednesday morning in the 100 Block of Bridges Street.

Octavious Drayton was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and is now in stable condition.

Authorities are still looking for a suspect in the shooting

At this point they say they still don't have a motive.
