ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County Kiwanis Club met Monday and welcomed guest speaker, Dougherty County Police Chief Don Cheek.

Cheeks spoke on multiple issues, but stressed his appreciation for the community in Dougherty County.

"It's a great opportunity for us to get the message out about what we do, and to actually interact with the people we work for, because we work for the people in this room," said Chief Cheek.

The club will meet again next Monday at the Hilton Garden Inn and welcome another guest speaker from the community.
