Congressman Sanford Bishop was up bright and early Saturday morning promoting early voting for the July 31st primary.

Starting a week before the election, any voters can vote early.

For Bishop, casting his ballot is one of his responsibilities as a citizen,  "If we citizens want to have the best possible government, and the best possible use of our tax dollars and our resources, then we need to express our self and put people in office that will exemplify those policies."

In Albany, this can be done at the government resource center at 125 Pine Ave.
