ALBANY, GA --
The Clergy and Concerned citizens of Albany have officially announced their endorsement of Dr. Anita Williams-Brown for the School Board At-Large position on the Dougherty County School Board.

A spokes person for the group, Dr. Henry M. Brown, cites her experience in the school system as the reason for the endorsement.

Dr. Anita Brown, also took the time to answer questions regarding the recent freezing of the school boards Title 1 funds stating, "
I feel that once they get what they need. They’re going to see the Dougherty County School System is following the guidelines as stated by the federal law."

Brown is running against Lane Price in the July 31st primary for the School Board At-Large position.
