ALBANY, GA --
Coach Jesse Massey is donating bicycles to the Dougherty County Police Department for their, "lights out" event on August 2nd, 2012.

However this single act of charity is not the first for Massey. One year ago, Massey's fraternity celebrated their 100th birthday, which prompted him to work towards 100 charitable community acts in 2011-2012.

Massey began that mission with the "lights out" event last year, and pushed his community actions to 101 with the "lights out" event on Thursday.

Giving over $300.00 of his own money, Massey provided the Dougherty County Police Department with four brand new bicycles and five basketballs. However he says it's not enough, and he hopes that other individuals and groups in the community will step up and buy these items for the department's yearly event.
