Latest news, weather and high school sports for Albany and Southwest Georgia

ALBANY, GA -- The Georgia Department of Education released the system level results of end of course testing.

Students take exams in U.S. History, Economics, Biology, Physical Science, 9^th grade Literature, American Literature, Geometry, Algebra, Math I, and Math II.

Overall the state says Georgia students showed improvements in seven of eight tests compares to the 2011 scores.
