ALBANY,GA --
Kids ages three to 14 could be found at Maggie Moo's earlier Sunday--and they had a very good reason for eating ice cream.

The ice cream eating contest allowed kids to do one of their favorite things--eat ice cream--and at the same time, raise money for local organization Mission Change.

It cost just two dollars to register, and had kids trying to beat the clock--and each other--to the bottom of the bowls for the chance to win free ice cream for a year.

“All the funds that are raised today will all go back into Albany and that covers homelessness, our inner city youth, anyone who's going hungry,” says LaDonna Urick with Mission Change.

They raised $211 at the event.
