An unknown suspect broke through the front window of the Dollar General on East Oglethorpe early Saturday morning.

ALBANY, GA --
On Saturday morning, the Albany Police Department responded to an alarm at the Dollar General on 1906 East Oglethorpe.

The alarm was set off around 5:25 A.M. after an unknown suspect broke through the front window.

When officers arrived they made contact with a witness who said an unknown black male entered the store with the intent to commit theft.

Albany police is further investigating this incident.
