ALBANY, GA -- Albany police have made an arrest in the house fire on North Jackson Street on Tuesday.

Police say they have arrested a 12-year-old juvenile and the child has been charged with arson in the first degree.

The blaze destroyed the two story home at 414 North Jackson Street despite the attempts of Albany Fire Department to save the structure.
