ALBANY, GA --
Dougherty County School Board
candidate Dr.
Lane Price
received an endorsement from a former Lieutenant Governor Wednesday morning.
At a press conference on the steps of the Dougherty County School System building, former Georgia Lieutenant Governor Mark Taylor endorsed
Dr. Lane Price
in her bid for the At-Large seat on the Dougherty County School currently held by Dr. Anita Williams-Brown.
In a press release, Taylor says "I believe Lane Price is the only choice for the At-Large position on the
Dougherty County School Board
. Our public school system is essential to job creation in our community. We must leave no stone unturned in our efforts to make our schools the best in the state. Lane's passion for education and for this community's youth makes her the best candidate for the school board."
