Teen in jail after death of Taylor Bailey

LEE COUNTY, GA --
In April 2012 a Lee County teenager, Taylor Bailey died after falling off of the back of a moving vehicle. 

Lee County officials confirmed that on Thursday July 5, 2012 19-year-old Steven Edward Mathis II is in jail in connection to that case as the alleged driver.  Georgia State Patrol served a warrant and officials say Steven Mathis was cooperative, albeit surprised when he learned he was going to jail.

Mathis faces charges of vehicular homicide and reckless driving.
