COLQUITT COUNTY,GA --
An early morning car accident in Colquitt County leaves one man dead.

Georgia State Patrol say 25-year-old Leo Hopper of Colquitt was traveling south on Tree Farm Road around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.

He failed to stop at the stop sign, crossing over onto Lower Meigs Road.

He then failed to maintain his lane, overcorrected and that's when officers say his car overturned several times.

Police confirm he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

Hopper was dead when officers arrived at the scene.

A blood test is pending.
