ALBANY, GA --
People in Albany have a new place to get a tasty treat this summer.

"Cool Scoops" opened up this past Saturday and is located directly across from the Flint RiverQuarium.

Owner Eric Culbreth says a lot of people walk over to grab something to eat after visiting the RiverQuarium.

Amongst other things, patrons can get hotdogs, nachos, pretzels, candy apples and of course Ice Cream. 

Culbreth says he saw this as a great opportunity, "I have a concessions trailer and everything and I do a lot of traveling to different festivals, and I passed by here and (saw) the opportunity and took advantage of the down town area."

Stop by and check them out 7 days a week from 10am-7pm.
