The incident happened at 113 North Rosewood Drive and the victim is a 15-year-old boy. His death is confirmed by Albany Fire Department Chief Carswell.

A 15-year-old boy drowned at 113 North Rosewood Drive.  A firefighter and an EMS official jumped into the water to find him, however because the water was so murky they couldn't locate him.  After using an air pack, firefighter Brian Anderson was able to bring the boy to the surface and EMS transported him to the hospital.
