ALBANY, GA -- Starting in the beginning of July, residents will be able to view data compiled detailing which health risks are most common in Southwest Georgia. Over the past six months, analysts at Phoebe Putney and members in various health professions studied which health risks are dominant in the community. Visitors will be able to view the different percentages and organizations will be able to use the data to create and aid health studies. The Phoebe Community Benefits Committee will then begin a one-year health assessment plan on how to respond to the various needs.
"There will be a proposed plan of implementation and that plan will go before the full board and they will decide what the priority areas are,” said Phoebe Putney’s Vice President of Strategy, Jackie Ryan. The committee hopes to approve and implement the plan by July 31st, 2013 Stay connected to MySouthWestGA.com as the story develops and the FOX 31 Newscast at 10 PM.
