ALBANY, GA --
The Dougherty County Police Department needs your help identifying a woman caught stealing a change purse on surveillance video Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a customer accidentally left the change purse on the counter of the Liberty Expressway's Stop & Shop and left the store - only to have it taken by an unidentified woman.
"Moments later another individual entered the store and stole her change purse that had credit cards, debit cards in the purse and took the items without permission,” said Sergeant Chad Kirkpatrick.
Officials say the cards have not been used yet but the woman will face more serious charges of fraud if she attempts to.
