ALBANY, GA --
After two months of fundraising, LaGrange College proudly presented the Lily Pad with the items collected for their victims.

The students presented items like teddy bears, baby clothes, undergarments and more as well as a check for $1,000.

The Lily Pad says these items provide a great deal of comfort to the victims that come through their doors.

"A lot of times children and adults have their clothes taken from them due to evidence collection after a sexual assault and the nurses are able to provide them with replacement clothing because of the generosity of the community with these LaGrange students,” said Lily Pad’s Regional Director, Amy Boney.

They plan to use the money to provide other necessities to victims in the sexual assault program.
