ALBANY, GA. --
Four people are recovering after a Saturday afternoon accident sent them to the hospital. The accident happened around noon.

Donald Kohler, 53, was driving a BMW heading westbound on Clark Avenue when Rickey Smith, 48, changed lanes in front of him.

The F150 truck and the BMW collided, causing the Kohler to cross into the eastbound lane striking a Honda Pilot SUV.

Ronald Yates, 64, was driving the Honda when Kohler struck him.

Yates had three passengers with him when the accident happened.

Both the Albany Fire Department and Albany police responded to the scene.

Yates and all three passengers were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for observation.

Traffic on Clark Avenue has now returned to normal.
