ALBANY,GA --
The mother of a 28-year-old who died recently in a car crash is keeping his memory alive through a candle-light vigil.

Phyllis Oxford, from Dawson, is the mother of 28-year-old Ken Davis who died Saturday, May 19th when the car he was riding in struck a tree and caught fire on Don Cutler Sr. Drive.

The family gathered together before the vigil began.

Oxford says Ken touched the lives of everyone he knew.

“So many people, Facebook, email, phone calls, far and near, everybody's talking about how Ken has touched their lives in so many ways. If you're sad, Ken's gonna make you smile, no matter what your circumstances are or situation is, when you get off the phone with Ken, or if you're around Ken, you're not gonna be sad no more cause Ken was that bright light that touched everybody's life. So, so many people,” says Oxford.

The candle light vigil started at 8:00 p.m. and went from a park in town to Oxford's mother's house where Ken used to live.
