Road work scheduled for Baker and Dougherty Counties this week

The Georgia Department of Transportation has announced that road work will happen the week of May 21st in Dougherty and Baker Counties.

Work is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m., beginning Monday, May 21 and continuing through Thursday, May 24, with weather permitting.

Affected routes include S.R. 91 in Baker County, which will have a two foot pavement widening work done. Lane closures and/or flagman may be in utilized during this work on S.R. 91 between the Dougherty/Baker County line and Joan Avenue. Motorists should reduce their speed in these maintenance work zones.

Affected routes in Dougherty County include U.S. 82/S.R. 520. Shoulder work is scheduled daily for this route.
