Emerge Albany, a young professionals organization held their third annual blood drive on Wednesday in downtown Albany.

The group says they wanted to give back through the Red Cross to promote community involvement and show that it doesn't take a lot of time or money to give back.  Emerge Albany focuses on professional development and community involvement. 

Emerge leaders say they plan to host the event again next year.
