More than just southwest Georgia is talking about Phillip Phillips.
Legendary rocker Rick Springfield will be performing in Georgia next month.
Fox 31’s Ashley Knight got a chance to sit down with him recently and ask him what kind of advice he had for our American Idol finalist.
Springfield found himself in the limelight at a young age similar to Phillips, and says no matter what, you've got to hold on to your family connection.
“It's such an unreal thing, that being suddenly thrust into the spotlight and everyone's thinking they know you and expecting things and wanting things and so you have to hang on to your family at that point and hope for the best!” says Springfield.
