ALBANY, GA --
Phillip Phillips has returned to Southwest Georgia after several weeks in Hollywood during the American Idol contest.

Phillips made his arrival about an hour earlier to the expected arrival time of 9 PM.

Since landing, he has had a meet and greet with fans for pictures and autographs, interviews with Melanie Kendall, and spending time with his family. 

Phillip left the airport grounds shortly after 10PM to prepare for Saturday's activities.
