ALBANY,GA --
The Economic Development Commission announces they will create a five-year plan to help boost the economy and bring jobs to the area.

The EDC will meet with local stakeholders such as the marine base, local government and small businesses to outline priorities.

“And we need input from a lot of different areas to be sure we're meeting the expectations of the people who are investing in our organization,” says EDC President Ted Clem.

Clem says gathering information from stakeholders will take a better part of the summer.
