ALBANY, GA. --
Over the last week, Southwest Georgia has had pretty mild weather but that may not last long.

In Friday's Facebook story of the day fans wanted to know when the really hot scorching temperatures are going to kick in.

Fox 31's Chief Meteorologist Mike Morrison gave an answer.

“Over the next week we are going to see above average temperatures but it's not until the end of May and the start of June that we'll start seeing average high temperatures to near 90 degrees and that's when we start seeing multiple high temperature records,” says Mike Morrison.
