ALBANY, GA --
The Salvation Army conducted a disaster training workshop Thursday morning.

Several local agencies came together to discuss how they would respond locally before the next disaster happens.

Participants were given an overview of the fundamentals of emergency management.

Army Territorial Disaster Coordinator Jeffery Jellets Salvation says "what we're looking at is who the key stake holders in a disaster response are. How do we escalate that response from a local disaster all the way up to a federal response and how you go from a house fire to a Hurricane Katrina type scenario."
